Bio-Maths

The widest-opening group: keeps both Engineering (via Maths) and Medical/Dental (via Biology) routes open after 12th. Heaviest workload of the science groups since it carries both Maths and Biology.
Difficulty: High — 4 major subjects, no overlap between Maths and Biology content
Computer Science

Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science
The standard Engineering/IT-track group. Drops Biology, adds Computer Science — best fit for students set on Engineering, especially CS/IT/software, and who don't need the Medical option.
Difficulty: Moderate-High — Maths-heavy, CS is scoring if practiced
Bio (Botany & Zoology)

Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology
Pure Biology group, no Mathematics — closes off Engineering but is a lighter, more focused route into Medical, Dental, Pharmacy and life-science degrees than Bio-Maths.
Difficulty: Moderate — no Maths, but heavy memorisation/lab content
Commerce with Computer Applications

Business-track group aimed at Commerce, CA/CS/CMA, and BBA-style degrees, with a computer-applications component for office/IT skills rather than core programming.
Difficulty: Moderate
Commerce with Business Mathematics & Statistics

Economics, Commerce, Accountancy, Business Mathematics & Statistics
Same Commerce core as the Computer Applications variant but with Business Mathematics & Statistics instead — better fit if aiming at Economics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science degrees later.
Difficulty: Moderate
Arts / Humanities (Geography, History, Economics & Political Science)

Geography, History, Economics, Political Science
Humanities group for students aiming at Law, Civil Services, Journalism, Social Work, or general Arts degrees. This is one of six Arts variants (codes 2801-2806) that swap the fourth subject for Statistics, Computer Applications, English, Indian Culture, or an advanced language — schools may not offer all of them.
Difficulty: Moderate — reading/writing heavy, less numerical
